A-SOMA-TE

Barcelona

La Plana (Santa Maria d’Oló)

7 – 11 SEPTEMBER 2023

(A-soma-te from the Spanish “Asomarse” meaning ‘to lean in’)

More and more of us are taking up somatic practices to deepen our understanding around what it is we need on our path. Connecting with the body we inhabit helps us refine our perception to understand ourselves, our curiosities and the relationships we establish. Recognizing ourselves as part of a connected soma reconnects us with the mystery of being alive.

We return to Barcelona with embodied wisdom to create a space where we can marvel at our passions and the diversity of our choices.

Lean into a playful and intimate encounter as part of a community rich in emotional, sensory and erotic intelligence.

Lean into the obstacles, the challenges, the creative space, the self recognition through others.

Lean into the exploration of consent, the contagion of group joy.
Lean into dance, soma, contact improvisation, querness, kink.

Lean into Touch.

Lean into Play.

I WANT TO BE PART OF THE EXPERIENCE

7-11 SEPTEMBER

This is a retreat about play, vulnerability and building community rich in emotional, sensorial and erotic intelligence.

TOUCH&PLAY GLOBAL

The Touch&Play project started in 2010 and grew from an exploration of the chemistry and the edges of Contact Improvisation. It currently frames itself as an exploration of “The Relational Body” which uses CI as one of a few core practices to do this.

Some of the fields we work with are: Embodied Consent, BMC, Healing Practices, Dance, Somatics; Contact Improvisation technique, Power Sensation Role and Rope Play, Authentic Movement, Performing-Witnessing; Conscious Sexuality, Gender Explorations, Queering the Dance, Ritual, Discussion groups, The Oracle, Singing Circles and more.

We invite you to come home to this diverse community of dancers, somatic explorers and embodied humans. Happy to stumble, dance and touch and play with you again!

“Leave the relationships more beautiful than you found them.”

I want to join
